The St. Mary's Boat Club is situated on the North-West Arm and was originally constructed in 1905. It was initially used by the St. Mary's Young Men's Temperance & Benevolent Society. In 1919, it was established as the St. Mary's Boat Club (SMBC). After undergoing extensive renovations, it was reopened by the City of Halifax in 1991.

Aaaaahhh, this wedding! Tia and Jay had the most beautiful beautiful day for their roaring 20's inspired wedding at the St. Mary's Boat Club on the Northwest Arm. Sunny, warm and gorgeous (just like Tia herself!). When I met these two and their adorable daughter Matilda for their engagement session I could immediately see how much fun these two have together, and how much they adore each other.

A Sir Sandford Fleming Park and St Mary's Boat Club wedding was held on a beautiful sunny day this past August. The wedding ceremony was held in the quaint white gazebo in the park while the wedding reception was held at the boat club. Lauren and Connor first met as participants at an environmental recreation center inside the Sir Sandford.
